This recipe was easy to follow and did not cost much to make.

The taste was NOTHING SPECIAL.

My husband and I were not fans of this chili.

Classic Beef Stew

This recipe was also easy to follow and did not cost much to make.

The taste was GOOD according to my husband and I did not think it was that great. 

 For December 2020 I used Martha Stewart's Baking Handbook

Page 49 Pumpkin Bread

This was an easy recipe to follow and did not cost much to make.  The taste was GOOD however I hesitate to call this bread. I would say this is more like a sponge cake.

Page247 Pumpkin Pie

This was an easy recipe to follow and did not cost much to make.  The taste was OKAY.  I do not like the taste of evaporated milk and never make my pumpkin pie with it.  This recipe used evaporated milk and I could taste it.  Also, it took much longer to cook than was stated in the recipe and turned out rather flat and not light and fluffy.  

I have used this book before and some of the recipes are really good.
